My hair is relaxed but sometimes the ends gets frizzy and puffy and when my new growth comes in the roots are very nappy? If I was to straighten the roots and ends a little after I flat iron how long will it last with no additional product? If you just use a regular flat iron and you have generally frizzy hair, your hair will most likely stay straight for about 2 or 3 hours- max. You have to get you hair relaxed for it to permanently stay straight, or else you will just end up with the frizzy hair again. When you get it relaxed, it can stay straight from anywhere from 1 to 6 months, depending on how frizzy your hair is.
It lasts as long as it stays dry. If i get in the shower and it gets wet, or the humidity gets to it, then i have to do it all over again. When i get in relaxed, it doesn't matter if it gets wet or not, it still stays straight, but i have to keep it moisturized.
If you flat iron it probally a few days because i have the same problem my ends get very frizzy after i relaxed it for 2 wks.Wrapping helps though my hairdresser told me to try it and it does help.just try not to get your hair wet too often

it onlyy does it you have thin hair


but if you have thick hair the end will always come back frizzy


and its nothing you can do but


you can cut your spit ends that will help
This question is some-what offensive, why should our hair stay straight any longer than any one else? If ';you'; wrap your hair up every night and keep it moisturized (oil sheen is the best thing to use) it should stay straight at least a week (5-7 days).
it will last long only if u wrap it every night. if u just sleep on it without wrapping it, it will stay frizzy.!!!
just straighten it every day?


and use protector spray?

we are all looking for a good condition.. i have the same problems until i fond the Brazilian treatment $350 but it last 6mos. for us but its good...
Like with everyone elses hair, It stays straight intill you get it wet.
it wont last long cause flat iron does nothing for new growth...have u tried hot oil treatments?
