How to straighten hair?

i have short wavy/curly hair im going to get it chemically straighten over the summer.... but i want to know if i can straighten it in a different way in the mean time.... also its almost 1 inch long(i think and aslo trying to grow it out). i tried to straighten it with a flat iron but my hair isnt that big. please list some ways i can straighten it.How to straighten hair?
I hate to say that I'm going to go along with everyone on this but for the moment:





1.) Either get a round brush and learn how to blow dry it straight, which will give you volume.





or





2.) Go get a straightener but when you do you can find some that have a VERY small plate so that you can achieve the look you want but also straighten your semi-short hair; this way you don't get creases because the plates are too big.

Use gel and a hair straitoner.
But the narrowest iron u can find and use a straightening lotion prior to styling.
if u want it permanently straightened get it chemically done.. ive had my perm for 2 yrs now and everytime i want it straightened i keep having to use a straightener and i do get tired of doing that.. but it would cost 75 to get it chemically straightened. (for me)
There are some very small hair straighters out there. Maybe you should try one of those?

But 1 inch ..really isn't that long at all. You may just have to let it grow in order to do anything with it.
there are available straigthening shampoos and creams in the market that you can use to temporarily solve your problem. And they're not that expensive.
try and find a really small flat iron ,those work the best for shorter hair and use products to aide in like a smoothing serum

use a straightening iron, flat iron (there are a couple names for it)


you can go and buy yourself one (there are several different places where you can get one)


**they're not too expensive and they are almost like a curling iron, yet there flat (to of course straighten the hair)


! they work really well if you want to get that fast, nice and just freshly cut kind of look !

they have these things i think they are called hot combs. the comb part is made outta some kinda metal and you heat them up on the stove or something. but i know my mom used to have short hair and that's what she used. you have to be really careful though cause they are really hot and get really close to your head.
