How to get rid of bumps in hair with a cheap flat iron?

i have a cheap flat iron, conair right wet and dry, never used it on wet hair to afraid to anyways. when i finish straightening it theres always bumps in my hair, how can i get rid of them while im saving up for a good flat iron?How to get rid of bumps in hair with a cheap flat iron?
the cheapness of the flat iron doesn't matter, its how its used.





hold the flat iron open and silk the hair. this means rub the open iron on the hair before closing it. don't hold it in one spot for long. you have to work quickly.





p.s. good call not using it on wet hair, it will burn it. its okay for your hair to have a little moisture in it (say 90-95% dry).
