I have thick, wavy hair that I tend to straighten with a flat iron. I plan on growing my hair out a bit and got my hair thinned a bit. Anyways, I noticed that my flat iron really dries out and stiffens my hair. I've tried turning down the heat some but I get the same results. How can I avoid this? Should I get a new one? if you deep condition avery week and use a thermal protectant before you iron your hair, that can help soften the hair alot. and it makes the hair look shinier and healthier. hope i helped. :)
