How to straighten hair with flat iron?

I just bought a mousse (herbal essences body envy mousse) and a heat protecting spray. After I straighten my hair, I also want to make this hairstyle. link at the bottom, but if you don't know how, Ill try and find out myself but thanks for answering anyway.

I don't know if this will work but, put some mousse in your hair, straighten it and then fip out the ends with your staightener....I hope you have layers in your hair that is the only way it will work...if your hair flipped out good with the straighter try taking pieces of your hair and use hair spry to make them stick out like the pic...you are going to need some good holding hairspray and mousse to make it work...good luckHow to straighten hair with flat iron?
turn the straightener on and give it a few minutes to get hot. when your hair is dry spray the heat protector on a brush and then brush your hair. then take the straightener and put a 2 inch section of your hair in it, at the top of your hair near your roots. then slide the straightener down your hair when your hair is closed inside it. do this with every part of your hair. dont do it too many times a week because your hair will be dry
