What products should I use to straighten my hair with a straightening iron?

I recently bought a Solia Professional Ceramic Ion Flat Iron (1-3/4';) (see here)

and I was wondering what heat protecting serums I should use before I use it (it is wet-dry)

Also, what hair products should I use to hold the look? How much? Where (as in, the roots, the tips, etc)

I have dark blonde (not dyed) super frizzy curly thick hair with thin individual hair, making it prone to flyaways so im used to using a LOT of product to make it cooperate. What products should I use to straighten my hair with a straightening iron?
Try Tresemme Heat Protecting Smoothing Serum. It works well and is at a great price! What products should I use to straighten my hair with a straightening iron?
Loreal hot straight! protects hair, keeps it straight %26amp;smells really good!
wax/hairspray to hold a good look,

use heat defence spray so you dont damage your hair
something that is meant to protect it from heat, My stylist recommends blow drying strait and just flat ironing the ends not the whole thing.
garnier fructis products for no frizzy no humidity really work good
i use';redken align ultra straight balm'; :

it's pretty pricey, but it makes your hair shiny and soft and smell good. you can buy it at hair salons.

but if you're looking for something cheaper, you can go to ';Sally's beauty supply'; if you have one near you because they have sooooo many heat protecting sprays %26amp; creams you could definitely find one there.

=)
you could try herbal essences dangerously straight shampoo and conditioner herbal essences also has a dangerously straight spray that can will protect your hair and keep it straight all day when you use your flat iron. they sell it at walmart and other drug stores and it is not expensive at all

good luck
I have this chii spray, but i forget what it is called.
Garnier Fructis offers a Sleek and Shine line that is awesome for achieving the straight look and can be used in concert with your Flat Iron.
dang that one is expensive! ya know i use this really good one, its from wal mart and its revlon. and its a little under 20 bucks! its ceramic and it works amazing! unless your hair is short then that one is proly the best. but i would go to ';sallys'; or ';beauty bands'; and get the revlon kind that keeps your hair healthy and it makes it super soft... good luck!
